So many hours crocheting and honestly, I'm starting to feel a little Loop - y!

This is my very first Crochet Along (CAL), and I’m so excited to share it with you. This crochet-along goes for 12 months, with one mystery square per month. I have never done 3D squares before, so it has been a great learning journey for me, and it has improved my crocheting skills. I love learning from other crocheters about different skills. I will put all the links and photos of each square that I have done so far below to show you what they look like. 'Repeat Crafter Me' will teach you how to sew and crochet the squares for the mystery blanket. You can make this blanket bigger or in whatever shape you desire. My absolutely favourite 3D squares so far are the lion, frog, and hippo. This blanket is a good way to use up all your scrap yarn stash. If you start now you can catch up on these amazing squares and crochet along with Sarah, links to her social media are down below, to finish this mystery blanket with me!

What is a Crochet Along, and how does it work?

A crochet Along (CAL) is generally an online pattern for larger projects like blankets, where the patterns are released in stages (usually at the beginning of each month) so that people can crochet the individual parts. Crochet a long can be a mystery pattern and a regular thing that crochet designers do. It is an event connecting several people who can crochet one project at the same time.

‘Passion is one great force that unleashes creativity, because if you’re passionate about something, then you’re more willing to take risks.’
